Located on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun's lure of natural wonders, ancient ruins, and aquatic playgrounds lends itself toward a great vacation spot. History buff or not, you'll be astounded by the Mayan ruins not too far from the beach. More into animal life, ferry over to the Isle Mujeres and you can swim with the dolphins there.

Activities such as jet skiing and snorkeling and the white sand beaches combine for a great mix of things-to-do, sea and shore alike. Don't worry though! You'll have plenty of time during the day because the night life scene in Cancun doesn't start until midnight. But rest assured most of the clubs are open all night!
